ACACIA SPRL is a company with assets in mines, our mines are open-pit medium-class mines located in Kimvula, (Bas-Congo), Kasongo Lunda, Popokabaka, Kahemba et Kenge (Bandundu) Tshikapa, (Kasaï-Occidental), Kalehe (Sud Kivu), Moba, Pweto (Katanga) all in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
Artisan Miners under ACACIA SPRL acquired full responsibility of the all the cited mines mines in February 2008.
We extract and develop copper, gold, coltan and other base metals around Kolwezi Territories in Katanga in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We work with our partners locally, and the neighboring countries like Uganda, Zambia and Tanzania, to process and transform our rough mining products into final products destined to the international market. A long-term outlook, our pride in mining, our commitment to shared standards and our respect for people, land and culture underpins our success.

ABOUT ACACIA SPRL
Acacia Through History
We were founded on June 16, 2008, as "Cooperative Miniere Acacia". Over the years, we became just Acacia Sprl after acquiring and uniting all 43 mining consession, forming one entity and built a history. We pioneered DR Congo as a large-scale alluvial mining operator, sharing the passion for our business. We face challenges and we continue to learn every day. We have advanced ever since and our 43 mining concessions are spread all over the Democratic Republic of Congo, in Ituri Province, Nord Kivu Province, Sud Kivu Province, Maniema Province, Haut Lomami Province, Tanganika Province and Lualaba Province.
Presently, we are one among the leading exporters of Semi Refined Gold, Roughly Cut Diamonds, Coltan and Copper products in The Democratic Republic of Congo. We provide direct employment to more than 200 local Congolese people and we are also source to business opportunities to service sectors – Banking, Insurance, Transport, Sampling and Inspection agencies in and around Lubumbashi, South Eastern Province of Congo.
Mining impacts the local ecological balance and the environmental conditions. We adopts a greener approach towards Mining and Mineral Processing activities by innovative ways of Sustainable Mining and Mineral Processing.
